Nursery Rhymes has been located on the edge of Fartown since 1994 and was our first nursery to open. We have a reputation for providing high quality childcare. Offering full day care and out of school care for 70 children under 11.
This Nursery is a converted house which over the years has been extended to offer a number of vibrant and inspiring rooms allowing the children to explore, develop and learn in a diverse environment.
The Nursery has a real passion for the outdoors and offers an enhanced curriculum with forest school sessions taking place in our natural garden area. We enjoy growing fruit, vegetables and herbs with the children as well as regular Creative Wood sessions which take place weekly here, and throughout the other nurseries. We have a beautiful Willow Den and a fabulous mud kitchen where the children enjoy taking care of their environment as well as being creative and taking risks.
The longstanding staff team are very highly qualified and experienced with staff having BA in Early Years and Early Years Teacher Status and level 3 Forest School Practitioner.
